Our Experience

Phil obtains an extensive resume and years of experience in the audio visual, music and recording industries and is part of our experienced team. His career began at the age of 16, as musician in a local band. From there his career in the music industry evolved to where he has performed as a professional musical entertainer playing drums, bass guitar and as a vocalist in the local Spanish and Gospel music industries. Phil also began to provide audio services for various functions around town. In addition to his experience as a musician, Phil has been a recording engineer and producer for local artists for 45+ years. Phil expanded his career and began working in the audio visual industry in the early 1990's. Phil obtains years of experience in the audio visual industry and as an Audio Visual Director and is also certified Sales and Customer Service. Phil's extensive experience of working with various organizations, businesses, and individuals is what has made Phil successful and a valuable asset to Heritage Audio Visual and is reason enough why Phil is one of the founding Partners.

Matthew is a founding Partner of Heritage Audio Visual. In his years of experience in the audio visual industry, Matthew is an experienced Project Manager, Audio Visual Technician, Video Switcher, Audio Technician, Lighting Technician, Production Manager, Rigger, Event Specialist, Graphic Designer, Customer Service Representative and Sales Representative. Matthew's creative custom-set designs are what has helped brand Heritage Audio Visual and truly make its mark in the industry. Matthew is also a professional guitarist, a musical producer, studio engineer and musical arranger. His accomplishments have been recognized in the New Mexico music market as well as the National Tejano Music Industry. Matthew is also a professional graphic designer and has created many designs for both local and national clients.

Joy is a founding Partner of Heritage Audio Visual. Joy obtains a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master of Science in Accountancy, and an M.B.A.  Joy is currently enrolled at Grand Canyon University pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration. Joy is an active member of the community and has been a member of various organizations including Meetings Professional International, the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, Visit Albuquerque, Albuquerque Economic Development, and the Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. Joy’s continued efforts within the community, has provided her with such accomplishments that include the President seat for the New Mexico Hispano Entertainers Association and a State Commissioner with the New Mexico Music Commission under two Governor’s Administrations. Joy is a native New Mexican and has always been around music, events and performing arts since the age of three. Through her accomplishments, she has received various awards in multiple states for her vocal talent and in 2016 & 2023, Joy was featured in Albuquerque the Magazine's "Super Women," for her accomplishments as a Partner with Heritage Audio Visual.
